May we introduce ourselves...

Newton Grove Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers, disciples of Jesus Christ. We have made a covenant with each other to gather regularly for worship, fellowship, to help each other grow in our commitment to Christian living and to share the Good News of forgiveness and a new beginning through Jesus Christ.

We believe that it was God’s plan for Jesus Christ to die on the cross as an atonement for our sins. Like everyone, we too have sinned against God, but we have been forgiven through the shed blood of Jesus. His resurrection from the dead and ascension into Heaven assures true believers of their eternal home in Heaven with Him after this life.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it is absolutely trustworthy as our guide for life and faith. It is uniquely inspired by God’s Spirit and has been preserved by Him as the source of truth for all mankind. We are not perfect people…we are forgiven people who are learning every day about God’s ways, God’s laws, and God’s love. We would love to have you join us on our journey of faith.
